Our Ultraslim LED Panels represent the latest generation of lighting fixtures, designed especially for LEDs and which take use of all their advantages. LED Panels will replace Neon Fixtures in offices, hotels, shopping malls and will also bring new light to your home.

1. LEDs are small yet very bright

LEDs are the smallest of all lighting sources and yet they produce the most light per square millimeter which means lamps of the future will have shapes which where impossible a few years ago. A LED Panel is build similar to an LED TV in which light emitted by LED lines on the edges of the screen is channeled via a special diffusing layer to its front. In the case of an LED TV, LEDs have low power and their light is used to make the images visible on the LCD screen.

In our LED Panels we use High Power LEDs and the light they produce is just amazing, up to 5400 lumen, as much as five 100W incandescent light bulbs! The Ultraslim LED panels are even thinner than an LED TV; only 13mm thick.

2. LEDs are very efficient light sources:

LED luminous efficiency is 80 lumen/watt and because the Ultraslim panel channels 95% of light downwards the fixture performance is 75 lumen/watt. That means the LEDs use 60% less energy than neon and 85% less than a incandescent bulb to produce the same amount as light.

If you upgrade your lighting to LED panels you will cut your electricity bill by as much as 8 times.

3. LEDs have better light

Light quality is expressed by the Color Rendering Index (CRI) where the maximum possible (best) is 100 and the worse is 0. Sunlight and incandescent light have a CRI of 100. A light source with CRI is below 79 can affect the quality of life because the colors of objects, people, fruits, vegetables and so on are not seen correctly by the human eye. If CRI is bad fruits will appear less fresh, skin not so healthy and clothing will have a completely different color - a deep red in a poorly light department store will be something else under the sunlight.

Many Fluorescent Lamps have a CRI lower than 70 while Warm White LED Panels have CRI 90.

Fluorescent Bulbs produce UV radiation when in use and UV has a harmful effect on color pigments and plastics. Organic colors fade and plastic becomes dull and brittle. LED lamps do not procude any UV radiation.

4. LEDs open new horizons for lighting design

Our LED Panels are white with an aluminum frame, which is a very modern and elegant design. The fixture can be installed in coffered ceiling or suspended but can also be used as elegant interior decoration on walls or ceilings.

5. Light can be easily dimmed form a distance

An infrared remote control can be used to adjust the brightness of the LEDs in order to create the desired lighting atmosphere.

6. LEDs are eco friendly:

LED lamps have up to 50 times the lifetime of other light sources and thus produce much less waste.

LEDs do not contain any mercury, a substance with has very negative effects on the environment.

Where to use Ultraslim LED panels?

The 60x60 cm Ultraslim LED panel can be used as the only lighting source in spaces as large as 20 square meters, for example private offices, medical centers, dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms or large storage rooms. Multiple LED can be the main lighting source for open office spaces, hotel rooms, showrooms, designer shops, banks, hospitals, large living rooms and so on.

The LED fixture can be installed inside of a suspended ceiling, modular grid suspended ceiling (as used in offices) or suspended below concrete ceilings. It also can be placed on walls to serve both as light source and decorative item.

Lighting design calls for use of multiple light sources to light a space because in this way light can be effectively directed to areas where is needed and also you can create multiple lighting scenarios based on the occasion - work, reading, conversation, watching a movie, relaxation, entertaining guests and so on. Warm White or Pure (Cold) White?

• Warm White (2700K – 3000K) light creates a cozy, intimate atmosphere which is preferable for homes. However, if your home color scheme (walls, furniture, decorations) is based a lot on black & white or very pale colors we recommend Pure White. Warm White Spots gives off a yellowish light that helps enrich the warm colors in your home, like Red, Orange, Yellow and materials such as wood. Warm White is suitable for lounges, hallways and bedrooms – areas for relaxation.
• Pure White (3000K-6000K) is usually good for working environments as it promotes productivity and give us the ability to see contrasts. This makes it ideal for work areas such as kitchens, laundries, workshops and offices (not to mention being great for reading lamps).
• Cold White (over 6000K) bulbs appear to have cooler or ‘bluer’ light and are generally used for special applications only. They may be used in lighting when special effects or a 'cool' appearance is required.
